My name is (------------), and on July, 2010 I stepped on a rusted nail. I have had diabetes for approximately 8-years. I went to my medical doctor, and was told my sugar was over 550 and to go to the Emergency Room. Before going to see my doctor, my foot had blown up with such an infection from; this was the main reason for going to see Dr. Hanna.
Upon going to the Emergency Room, they took my sugar again and it was still over 550. They said my foot had a severe infection and that I was being admitted. Once I went to the floor I saw a nurse and then the doctor came in. He said he was ordering a foot specialist to look at the wound. I met Dr. Saka on the floor after a consult was needed. He wasn’t afraid to touch it and really went and was squeezing as much as the pus he could. Dr. Saka said, “This is a very bad infection and we need to operate as soon as possible.”
Dr. Saka was there along with Dr. Teichman both from East Penn Foot and Ankle Associates. The surgery journey began. Dr. Saka said, “If you do what I say, you will be fine.” I was put on heavy doses of antibiotics. Dr. Saka came in everyday to see me. He even gave his cell phone number to my wife for any questions that may come up.
I had to have 3 surgeries in 3 weeks. Dr. Saka never gave up. I believed in Dr. Saka and he delivered good results. Everybody else wanted to just cut off my toe, and I didn’t want that. I was going to take my chances, and because I didn’t want my toe cut off Dr. Saka did as I wished. I was out of commission for 7 months, but Dr. Saka never gave up on me.
Dr. Saka is my hero. He believed in me. He was excellent and outstanding. Everybody was surprised that I didn’t have my toe amputated. I put a sneaker on before I was supposed to do. I am one of the lucky ones, and I owe it all to Dr. Saka.Anonymous
I was taken care of by Dr. Rocchio. He explained everything in a way you understood what was happening. He was very pleasant and is the best.
We just found out he operated on our great niece, and her parents also think the world of Dr. Rocchio. We will highly recommend him to everyone. (He) also took care of everything at the wound center and will also take care of my other foot problems.
He is the greatest. Keep up the good work. We love you.George and Jo S.
I had a clam shell stuck in my foot. I went to see Dr.Rocchio, he talked to me about he was going to num my foot and take out the shell and all of the lake gunk in my foot.
My mom held my leg and it didn't even hurt. I was happy the germs did not go into my blood stream. Be careful where you jump- if you do land on something-go to see my foot doctor.Mason - Age 7
The foot doctor is great. First I was in the hospital and had a foot injury and I had puff gas and fell asleep but I had to count to 5 but I only counted to 3. They gave me fruit cups and took good care of me. The End.

When I met Dr. Rocchio I had sores on the bottom and back of by feet. It was questionable if I would have to have my feet amputated.
Dr Rocchio sent me to the hospital and operated on my feet. Either he or his interns came to check on my progress every day. After I was sent home, I continued to see Dr. Rocchio one day a week. He would sometimes give me skin debridement to make sure that the area was free of disease. Sometimes, he would apply Apligraf on the wound area and the healing done in one week was amazing.
I feel that if it wasn’t for Dr. Rocchio and his nurses I wouldn’t be walking today and have my way of life back. Dr. Rocchio and the staff were wonderful. Because of them my life is back to normal. I would highly recommend the Doctor to everyone.Linda S.
Today, I left Dr. Teichman's office skipping out the door. No more heel pain!! For the past couple of years, I have been unable to wear a sneaker. I own a child care center in New Jersey and it has been very difficult for me to run and play with the children. Two months ago I was tired of this constant pain in my heel, so I found your very encouraging ad in the yellow pages. I called your office and was greeted by a warm and caring voice. She took my name and gave me an appointment to see you. When I entered your office I felt a nice and calm atmosphere. Your receptionist welcomed me and said the doctor will see you shortly. This was important to me because this was my first visit and I was a little nervous. She made me feel very comfortable. I will always remember the facial expression on Dr. Teichman's face when he entered the room. WOW What a genuine smile. I thought to myself this guy must love what he is doing. You'd have to love your job to be looking at all those crazy, wacky feet and toes all day.
Dr. Teichman you are the best. You took the pain away. You are a true professional. I would highly recommend your office in Easton, PA to anyone with a foot problem. In closing, I want to personally thank you and your staff for being so kind and caring about your patients. I truly appreciate your expertise in fixing my ailing foot. I admire your dedication to your profession. It was a pleasure going to your office and I can't wait to see you again in 6 months.Your thankful paitent LC
East Penn Foot and Ankle Associates,
I have suffered from chronic heel pain for years and have seen many doctors without relief. I was then referred to Dr. Teichman who recommended shockwave therapy to alleviate my heel pain. I was very skeptical but it is now 3 months later and I am now walking pain free and have resumed an active lifestyle. This is the first time in years I can walk without pain. It’s great to walk again.
I would like to thank Dr, Teichman and his staff for their help and would recommend them highly.D.A 2009
Dear Dr. Teichman,
I am overjoyed that I went through with the surgery on my foot. Now I will not fall when I run for no reason. I hated not being able to move my body like I was supposed to. Thank you for your help.
P.S. You are funny!C.R. 9 yo female
Dr. Adam Teichman is the very best Podiatrist in the Lehigh Valley; he is the best and knows how to make each day more valuable to you!
In 2007, I was suffering from severe pain in my left ankle; the pain was so bad at times I needed time away from work. There were so many times I needed to ice hours on end just to keep the swelling down. I had surgery on my ankle the previous summer by a surgeon in the Lehigh valley but my ankle did not get any better it was actually worse than before surgery. I was told by the surgeon to just work through the pain and take pain medication, which would just mask the pain. At this point my surgeon was recommending me to other surgeons in the area because there was nothing more he could have done for me. As you could imagine this made me very frustrated due to the fact that I had already went for a surgery to correct a problem and it actually made my foot worse. I thought there was no help in the area until I talked to Robbins Rehabilitation who suggested that I should have my ankle evaluated by Dr. Teichman.
Dr. Teichman explained my treatment options to me and suggested we try a non-surgical route first and then if that failed we should talk about surgery. Dr. Teichman assured my wife and I that everything would be ok, and not to worry and he would try his hardest to make me pain free without medication. We worked together on this for about two months. Things started progressing in the right direction. I was feeling good; however, not 100%.
I asked Dr. Teichman about the different alternatives for my ankle problem and I brought up surgery again. When discussing my options, Dr. Teichman stated he was able to perform a state of the art procedure that was going to eliminate my pain and only keep me out of work for a very short period of time. After discussing this with my wife, we were very confident that Dr. Teichman would be able to help and surgery was the right option.
Now two years later I am PAIN FREE and back to an active lifestyle.
I would defiantly recommend Dr. Teichman he is someone who really knows his field of work.KP
