The presence of pain in the top of your foot can indicate many conditions. Among them are:
- Bunion aside the large toe
- Tailor's bunion aside the little toe
- Fractures of the metatarsals (bones connecting the mid-foot to the toes)
- Ankle sprains
- Dislocated toes
- Diabetic peripheral neuropathy
- Crossover toes
- or many other conditions.
